Emergency Management

Good evening citizens of Waterville.  We want you to know that your Emergency Management Team is ready to deploy should this incoming storm become destructive and dangerous.  All indications are that strong winds will prevail. We urge you all to take immediate action should the tornado warning sirens activate.  Move immediately to a place of safety, usually the lowest floor of the building you’re in, and stay away from windows.

Le Sueur County is currently in a Tornado Watch until 2300 hours (11:00 p.m.) for December 14, 2021, and in a high wind warning until 0600 hours (6:00 a.m.) tomorrow morning, December 15, 2021.
