2024 State Primary

Early Voting Hours

Early voting hours in Minnesota's 2024 State Primary Election run from Friday, June 28, 2024 through Monday, August 12th, 2024 at 5:00 p.m..

The primary is set for Tuesday, August 13th.

Le Sueur County voters can vote by mail or in person at the Auditor-Treasurer Office in the Le Sueur County Government Center, 88 S Park Avenue, Le Center from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Fridays. The office will also be open for extended voting hours from 9 a.m. - 3 -p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Le Sueur County offices will be closed Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

Anyone voting early must fill out an application in order to receive an absentee ballot.

To register to vote, visit the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State website (www.sos.state.mn.us) and click on Elections and Voting, then Register to Vote. From there, you can register online or download forms to complete and mail. Minnesota allows Election Day registration, though that requires proof of residence. The forms and list of acceptable documents can also be found on the Secretary of State's website.
